When it comes to deciding whether to become a parent or live childfree, do any of these thoughts sound familiar?
Everyone says I’d make a great parent — but does that mean I should become one?
I don’t want to be perceived as cold or unloving if I decide not to have children.
I love my partner, but I’m worried I’ll resent them if I just go along with what they want.
I love my dog more than anything. This love is spontaneous. I fear that loving my child won’t come naturally.
What if time slips away, and I never make a conscious decision about parenthood?
I'm worried I'll say yes — or no — without fully knowing why, and later realize it was for the wrong reason.
If you recognized yourself in any of that, take a breath. You're not broken, and you're not alone.Â
And even if you feel hopelessly stuck, there is a way forward.
Who is This Workshop For?
This workshop is for you if:
- You long to make a decision you feel good about, once and for all
- You've already decided about parenthood or living childfree, but want to feel solid in that decision
- You're struggling to conceive, considering adoption, or thinking about becoming a part-time parent, co-parent, or stepparent
Whether you're single, partnered, or married — any age, culture, or sexual orientation — this work meets you where you are.
A Note For couples: Ann's Parenthood Clarity™ method is designed for individuals. If you and your partner both want to join, you'll each register separately and go through the process on your own. We recommend you not participate in the same room, and that you don't share your experiences until the workshop is over.
With Ann as your mentor, you'll discover what's keeping you stuck — and begin to move forward with a new future.

Uncovering Your Story: A Stream-of-Consciousness Writing Guide
These writing prompts will begin the process of uncovering unconscious stories — beliefs you might have that you’re not aware of. As you’ll discover, the beauty of stream-of-consciousness writing is that your mind is on your side and will deliver valuable information to you without you having to overthink.
Bonus #2
Putting Aside Your Externals and Fears (15-Minute Guided Audio Exercise)
One of the likely reasons you haven’t been able to decide whether to become a parent is that you’re trying to merge several concepts — what you want, the details that go into your decision, and your fears about this decision — into one overwhelming mental task. This 15-minute guided exercise will help you separate these concepts from one another so you can begin to discover what you truly want.
Bonus #3
Digital excerpt of the book Motherhood Is It for Me? by Denise L. Carlini and Ann Davidman
Get a head start with the first three chapters of Ann's book — a grounding introduction to the process you'll experience over the weekend.

We recommend keeping Friday evening and Saturday clear — there are assignments between sessions, and you'll want space to let the work settle.
Give yourself Sunday evening to recover. This is not a passive workshop. You'll be engaged emotionally, and the work continues after each session ends.
Â
You’ll also receive:
- Video and audio of all sessions, available until August 24 at Midnight. Â
- Practices for deepening and integration (Digital Worksheets)
Materials are available for one week by design. This work is potent and timely — the momentum matters.
